The Rift Zone represents the most modern 29" short travel trail bike possible featuring 125mm of MultiTrac suspension and progressive geometry that takes full advantage of decades of trail riding experience to create best-in-class handling, both in and out of the saddle. The Rift Zone is an ideal bike for mixing it up between long trail days in the saddle and fast weeknight group rides.
Series 3 Aluminum Frame
Rift Zone 1, 2, and 3 models feature Series 3 aluminum frames, with detailed forgings, highly manipulated tubes, and full internal cable routing, giving the rider a high feature and high-performing upgrade worthy platform.
Multitrac Suspension Technology
MultiTrac is an acclaimed suspension system, fine-tuned to have a balanced ride capable of absorbing big hits with an efficient pedaling platform. The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity and the feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks.
Internal Routing
Both carbon and alloy frames sport full internal cable routing in the front triangle with Marin’s all-new internal cable routing grommets, providing a clean and rattle-free cable set up.

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.
Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.
Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
