The Avian Carbon brake pads are an alloy pad cage with a pad specific for use with our Venatic carbon fiber rims. Brake pads play an integral role in ride performance and long-term durability of the wheel.

Using pads intended for alloy rims will wear the pad quickly and you'll also run the risk of damaging the rim.
